Build & Design:
First, let’s talk about the overall build and design. The device comes with a similar unibody glass sandwich design that we are all used to seeing and is very common nowadays. Talking about the dimensions, the device has a form factor of 163.8×75.8×8.9mm and weighs around 200g (202g to be more precise). On the front, we are greeted with a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a dual punch-hole cutout. The fingerprint scanner still resides on the right-hand-side embedded into the power button. Around the back, we find a quad-camera array along with the LED flash and Realme branding at the bottom.
Talking about the sides, at the bottom we find the USB Type-C port along with the speaker, primary microphone, and the dual sim tray. And on the right side, we get to see the volume rockers and the power button and the fingerprint sensor embedded into it.
Upfront we have a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel (1080 x 2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display that has an aspect ratio of 20:9and 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display panel is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with a refresh rate of 120Hz and the dual punch-hole cutout that’s become more of a standard now.
With a higher refresh rate, the display also comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, means that you will enjoy smooth UI experience during navigation and scrolling, graphic intensive games like Asphalt, PUBG, etc. will also benefit and provide the user with a seamless experience.
Hardware and Performance:
Although many tech enthusiasts know that both Realme X3 and X3 Super-Zoom are powered by last year’s flagship processor the Snapdragon 855+. Yes, you heard it right that’s the same processor that was powering some of the great flagship devices like the OnePlus 7T series, ASUS ROG Phone 2, and many other devices benefited from that powerful processor. And to top it up, the devices also come with liquid cooling technology that keeps device cooler and more efficient.
Isn't Snapdragon 855+ old ?
No, not at all. The Snapdragon 855+ comes with all the bells and whistles that one needs, to experience a flagship-level device, keeping the cost as a consideration in mind. The Snapdragon 865 is not a huge leap from the Snapdragon 855+ when it comes to performance. It’s the most balanced processor that one needs for outperforming daily usage.
Ram & Storage:
Both the devices come with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. Being UFS 3.0, so you can expect a faster app opening times and overall smooth UI experience.
Battery & Charging:
Both the devices come with a 4200mAh battery that is enough to drive the smooth 120Hz display.
The devices also support Realme’s DART 3.3 (30W) fast charging. The company claims that this will allow the battery to refilled fully in less than an hour but these are just claims and the actual performance may vary depending upon the type of usage.
Additional Hardware & Features in Realme X3 | X3 Superzoom Launched:
Additional Hardware based features include: Bluetooth 5.0 | NavIC | VoLTE | VoWi-Fi | Dual Band Wi-Fi: 2.4 & 5 GHz | Dual Channel GPS | Linear Vibrator | Liquid Cooling | Dolby Atmos |
The devices come out of the box with Realme UI that is built on top of Android 10. And we often have seen in the past that Realme keeps updating their older devices for a long time with time to time security and feature updates. So no need to worry about the same.
Now Comes The Most Important Factor That Sets Both Devices Apart From Each Other:
Cameras are the differentiating factor that sets Realme X3 & Realme X3 Super-Zoom apart. The regular Realme X3 replaces the periscopic camera with a fixed 2x telephoto camera. Other cameras in the array are the same for both devices and include a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary camera

For selfies and video calls, the Realme X3 has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera sensor at the front with an f/2.0 lens, alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter.
